Would you agree with AI?
OpinionGap brings together news worth discussing across borders. No essay or specialist expertise needed: choose A or B on a specific event.
Choose first. Then meet the jury.
After voting, see each AI model’s choice and reasoning. They may agree or disagree; we do not manufacture disagreement. Model responses are neither correct answers nor their companies’ official positions.
Check the story behind the choice
We discover events through global and regional news lists, read available reporting and use AI to prepare briefs and questions. Source links stay visible. One report is not a consensus, and AI can misread it. Use the content feedback on the story page to flag a problem.
Community choices are not representative polls
Community results reveal 24 hours after publication so participants can choose independently first. They describe voluntary OpinionGap participants, not the general population. Small samples are not consensus. Unrevealed results stay out of search and share previews.
Privacy
OpinionGap does not require real-name registration. We use cookies and similar technologies to store an anonymous identifier, votes and basic usage information (such as visit source, device type and approximate region) to provide and improve the service.
When ad measurement is enabled, Google Ads may use cookies and similar technologies to collect ad interactions, IP addresses and device information to measure advertising effectiveness, and may process this information abroad. We do not send your specific voting choices to Google.
Avatars and nicknames stay in this browser by default. Only opting into fellow-reader companions uploads your confirmed look and nickname and shares a common choice with participants on the same side of a story, not your full voting history or chat. You can leave in Settings; content someone has already seen cannot be recalled. Companions include real readers and system characters, explained at first use. System interactions never count toward human votes or OG. We store anonymous experiment groups, displays and high fives to improve the experience. Leaving deletes your shared profile but retains anonymous interaction records.
You can turn off ad measurement in this browser without affecting voting. This preference lasts one year; clearing cookies resets it. Existing cookies can be removed in your browser settings.
